A photographic journal of discoveries made while "wavering between the profit and the loss, in this brief transit where the dreams cross." ~ ~ ~ T.S. Eliot, Ash Wednesday
Somewhere recently I read about the miraculous amount of information that can be stored in DNA compared to the most powerful computers. Unfortunately I can't remember the figures, the DNA in my brain being rather substandard!
Believe me, John, I'm completely sympathetic with the problems of memory at this stage in life. That said, I'm always in awe of the fact that most of reality is still unknown, and most of what is unknown is unknowable.
Wow - the mist, the sky, and that lone tree - a feast for the eyes. I like to think that life is full of miracles - but, sometimes I need this reminder.
Thanks, Barb. I think we all need to be reminded of miracles. That's why I leave home before sunrise each day and do not return until something magnificent has crossed my path. It's not all that difficult, as you well know; we just need to step outside and be mindful and attentive.
